Voice Directed Operations
Voice (also referred to as Speech) control provides a natural user interaction with the warehouse management system, removing the need to focus on a data terminal or paper, and liberating the operator's eyes and hands to do their jobs far more effectively. Mobile (RF) devices with headsets and microphones allow spoken instructions to be issued to operators who confirm their actions with spoken responses.
When utilised appropriately, voice directed control can enable significant increases in picking capacity and accuracy. SAP Warehouse Management can support voice picking directly or through the use of middleware voice applications. Rocket has expertise in the implementation of voice control using both SAP based solutions and interfaced external voice systems.

Integration
The Rocket Voice Suite integrates directly into SAP utilising standard SAP configuration, processes and reporting, meaning very high levels of compatibility for existing or new SAP warehouse management installations. No voice middleware servers are required.

The voice enabled devices communicate over the RF network either directly to SAP (with ITS Mobile) or via the Web-enabled SAPConsole server.
