Rocket's research programme actively investigates and prototypes new SAP software features and complementary technologies, proving concepts, identifying early adoption challenges and keeping know-how up to date. Research activities help to identify new opportunities for business improvement and to define best practices for the implementation of the new SAP functions and technology enabled processes. This means that our customers can unlock the maximum benefit from the leading edge with the minimum risk.
Rocket offers a unique research service to assist customers in the application of new and novel solutions to their business. In this process customers can submit a research request for a capability that has been identified as a potential enabler of business benefit. Rocket will help assess the SAP software and technology opportunities and agree the scope of a research programme for that particular application. The outcome of the initial assessment is either an existing solution or potential candidate for a research programme. Approved research programmes are commenced either as a Rocket funded or a co-funded ventures utilising the Rocket expertise and research environment which enables rapid progress through the early stages of the discovery and proof of concept process.
