Rocket Consulting celebrates SAP implementation excellence with 'Gold Winner' client in the 2011 SAP Quality Awards
Rocket Consulting's client, KN Drinks Logistics (KNDL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kuehne + Nagel UK, achieved Gold Winner status in the Large Implementation Category of the SAP UKI Quality Awards 2011.
The SAP Quality Awards celebrate customers in UK and Ireland that demonstrate SAP's ten quality principles to effectively manage software implementations marked by complex technical and business process requirements. The highly regarded Awards are a platform for the entire industry to recognise best practice, innovation and excellence.
SAP Supply Chain and Warehouse Management specialist, Rocket Consulting, had worked closely with KNDL to implement an SAP Supply Chain solution with the capability to integrate with multiple customers running their businesses on different ERP systems, providing KNDL with a dedicated IT infrastructure to enable customers to take advantage of a shared distribution network with exceptionally high levels of process integration.
Within a tight timescale Rocket Consulting and KNDL implemented a large scale SAP solution to manage all of their customers' logistics, leaving KNDL in a much stronger position to exploit their existing distribution infrastructure in the UK drinks industry. Within nine months KNDL and Rocket achieved a successful rollout across 18 secondary sites and 4 regional distribution centres.

As a result of its UKI win, KNDL has now been shortlisted for the EMEA level awards which are assessed by a different judging panel. Regional EMEA Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be announced at SAPPHIRE NOW in Madrid, Spain, on 9/10 November 2011.
