Plaisio

  • Plaisio Computers SA is the leading office products, consumer electronics and IT products retailer in Greece. Its products are distributed through a network of over 20 stores in Greece, one store in Bulgaria and through the distribution of catalogues, as well as two e-stores.
  • Plaisio, an existing SAP Retail customer, commissioned the construction of one of southern Europe’s most technically advanced distribution centres to meet the demands of their expanding business. With the aim of maintaining leading customer service levels with a growing customer base, the new warehouse which features automated conveyor systems, a fully RF scanning mobilised workforce and make-to-order production needed to be integrated seamlessly into Plaisio’s existing SAP IT landscape.
  • Rocket’s specialisation is delivering integrated processes, software and technology solutions using the SAP extended warehouse management platforms. Recognising that the key to the success of their project was the need for a specialist SAP partner capable of delivering truly integrated process lead Plaisio to Rocket.
  • Project delivery times and costs were reduced using various Rocket Packs, notably the Task and Resource Management Enhancement Pack which simplifies the implementation of SAP TRM while expanding its functionality and usability.
  • Exceeding all expectations, Rocket proved their commitment to customer service when one of the existing warehouses was destroyed by fire during the project. Rocket was able to react immediately and help put the still unfinished warehouse into emergency operation months ahead of the planned schedule.

  • The Irish supermarket chain with key focus on fresh food and customer service. The Dublin based distribution centre, operated on their behalf by Wincanton Logistics plays a key part in achieving this mission.
  • Superquinn, a leading Irish supermarket chain, were seeking to make operational improvements and efficiency gains to support the continued business growth and success while maintaining their traditionally high levels of customer services. They needed a Consulting partner to bring a combination of deep technical and practical operational skills.
  • The ambient and chilled warehouse runs on an SAP R/3 Enterprise platform with mobile data entry in the form of both Voice and Radio Data Terminal and Barcode scanning.
